Get in the festive spirit with our Winter Wonderland beaded bauble kit. Perfect for Christmas, this decoration will be the talk of the town. To create this beaded bauble you will use circular peyote stitch to make the design. The bauble is 5cm in diameter. Each beaded bauble kit includes full written instructions, Spiderlon beading thread and needle, two colours of Preciosa size 10/0 seed beads and a 5cm ball (the bauble). Please note that since the Snowflake Pattern has individual diagrams and word chart for each row, the overall pattern will be sent as a PDF download
This gorgeous kit can be made into a hanging bauble (ribbon not included) or as a table decoration.
Please note: Originally this kit was going to include a wooden ball. After some testing, we have since updated this to a polyester ball as the combination of a wood ball and approximately 30g of seed beads proved to be a bit too heavy for most tree branches and wouldn’t hang properly.

I am a complete beading beginner but came across a Bead Spider video while bored during chemotherapy and then found these kits as a result. The beads are high quality and there were no “duds” in the packet supplied, which was an ample amount with a few left over once I’d finished. The thread didn’t split despite the numerous times I managed to pull the needle (which was also supplied
In the kit) off and needed to re-thread! The pattern instructions are very clear and lots of care has been taken to ensure that every step is explained and shown in pictures. There are also different “views” so that you can read the pattern in a visual way or as a sequence.
After I had finished making up my kits, I contacted Bead Spider with some questions and the reply that followed was nothing short of excellent. So helpful and detailed, exactly what I needed to know in order to make plenty more lovely baubles in time for Christmas!
